2024-25 Faith Formation Classes
Class times - which coincide with Sunday Masses at St. Conrad - are 8:30 am and 11:30 am so families can attend Mass before or after faith formation classes.

We offer three options for Faith Formation for ages 3 through 8th grade.
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 for ages 3-5 is an experiential way of teaching children about God, our faith and Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Materials are based on the Bible, Roman Catholic liturgy and sacraments, Tradition, and Church teachings. Info: https://www.cgsusa.org/ All Kindergarten children in the All Saints Parish Faith Formation program will have Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for this coming school year. CGS Level I is open to ages three to five, so there will be preschoolers in the same sessions.
- Contemporary Catechesis for grades 1-8 is a “traditional” faith formation done with a flare. We use books from Our Sunday Visitor’s Alive in Christ series as our primary resource. The series offers all kinds of ideas and resources online and the teacher manuals offer creative teaching styles. We add other things such as movie clips and music that solidify the lesson’s theme, art projects, Bible skits, and much more.
- Homeschooling for non-sacramental years* is a great opportunity for parents and children to develop their relationship with God within their own family. Student(s) work at home with their parents as primary teachers. Parents become the primary educators of our faith when their child is born and baptized. We provide the student book and other resources, some of which are available online and in print. Parents may find that homeschooling for faith formation brings their family closer together.
*NOTE: Contemporary Catechesis classes are required for second and eighth grades as we prepare the students for First Communion and Confirmation respectively.
